چکیده

Hemicellulose is a major component of plant cell walls and xylan the most predominant polysaccharide. Xylan degrading enzymes integrate xylanolytic system. Xylanolytic were produced by fermentation Aspergillus niger Thermomyces lanuginosus grown on grass considered unsuitable for farming called Spartina argentinensis. Significant parameters: type used (SmF or SSF), leaves S. argentinensis (green senescent) conidia final concentration xylanase production screened optimized. The main results showed that highest levels enzyme obtained 1 × 105 conidia/mL A. in SmF at 96 h, 30ºC, with mixture 20.20% senescent 79.80% green leaves. specific activity was 62 U/mg, higher than (23 U/mg) previous work (Taddia et al., 2019), over glucanase maximized five times. optimized enzymatic extract characterized LC-MS HPLC carbohydrates. Six identified as constituents complex seven Moreover, stable 30 days 20 °C. Thus, can be within framework circular economy, rendering synergistic combination industrial applications.

Production of Hydrolytic Enzymes by the Plant Pathogenic Fungus Myrothecium Verrucaria in Submerged Cultures

The capability of the plant pathogenic fungus Myrothecium verrucaria to produce extracellular hydrolytic enzymes in submerged cultures was studied using several substrates. The fungus was able to produce different depolymerases and glycosidases, being xylanase, pectinase and protease the most important. Lipase was found in cultures developed in the presence of olive oil, while protease activity...

Screening of Lovastatin Production by Filamentous Fungi

In the present study, 110 fungal strains of Persian Type Culture Collection (PTCC) including some selected strains isolated in various screening projects were tested for their potentiality to produce lovastatin, a competitive inhibitor of 3-hydroxy-3-methylglutaryl-CoA reductase (HMG-CoA reduc-tase), the rate-limiting enzyme of cholesterol biosynthesis. The fungal strains were cultivated in a t...

Enhanced Production of Bovine Chymosin by Autophagy Deficiency in the Filamentous Fungus Aspergillus oryzae

Aspergillus oryzae has been utilized as a host for heterologous protein production because of its high protein secretory capacity and food-safety properties. However, A. oryzae often produces lower-than-expected yields of target heterologous proteins due to various underlying mechanisms, including degradation processes such as autophagy, which may be a significant bottleneck for protein product...

Production of a capsular polysaccharide by a marine filamentous fungus.

The spent seawater medium of 4-day-old-cultures of the filamentous marine fungus Leptosphaeria albopunctata had a high viscosity after the fungus was collected by high-speed centrifugation. Microscopic examination of uncentrifuged mycelium suspended in India ink revealed that the viscosity resulted from capsular material. These capsules became disassociated from the mycelium during centrifugati...
